Job TitleWhat You Can Expect In This RoleMonitor system performance by means of a console or terminal. Review console messages and react according to directions from system software, applications programs, or operator notes. Take corrective action when called for or seek assistance from System Programmers, Operations Analysts or other on-call personnel when causes of problems are not apparent. Monitor job schedule deadlines and alert necessary personnel to any major schedule changes that occur. Print and deliver policies, reports, and other output to appropriate service areas.What You'll Do In This Role• Responsible for maintenance and operation of computer systems including both mainframe and open-system platforms utilizing job monitoring software. • Operate computer hardware systems to process business data according to operating instructions and documented standards. • Load peripheral equipment with selected materials, such as tapes and printer paper for operating runs. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
